4/24/08:Wow! It's a very exciting time in the bookstore. We've had so many great books coming through our door every single day that it's all
we can do to keep up with them! Literature, history, philosophy, judaica - truly, an amazing assortment to suit all tastes.

This weekend holds vast excitement for the book lover! Thursday 4/24 - Sunday 4/27 we'll be having our Spring Sidewalk Sale at the Lincoln store - swing on by for some awesome deals!
We'll have hardcovers for $2, trade paperbacks for $1, and mass market paperbacks for $.50, with all sale books 1/2 off the sale price on Sunday!
In Brownville, we've got the 6th annual Wine Writers & Song Festival running Friday 4/25 - Sunday 4/27. Music, readings, food, fun, & great company - a good time shall be had by all!

4/18/08:Books Galore! It has been a truly amazing week in here. Shipments of books from both Texas and Maryland have arrrived - 15 boxes in all!
Lots of crafts and gardening titles, awesome graphic novels, history, science, literature - you name it! All great condition brand-new books priced in our store at half of the cover price. We just never let you down, do we? ;)
We've had great stuff just walking through our front door, too! A lovely assortment of clothbound fiction and nonfiction Library of America titles in slipcases, a nice hardcover matched set of Dickens complete
with pristine dust jackets, and tons of great new University of Nebraska Press titles. Our Native American Studies section is PACKED!
For the lit lover, we've had an influx of Rilke, Jonathan Lethem, and Kerouac. Can't beat that!

We've brought in a really fantastic assortment of new items this week, including a
nice collection of lovely Easton Press leather-bound editions and some very pretty Franklin Library and Folio Society editions. Fancy!

as well, with new arrivals in nearly every section! Now is the perfect time to stop in and browse for the right book to keep you company during these April showers.

The New Stuff Shelf is turning over at a phenomenal rate, we've got great new arrivals in every section, and the books just
keep on comin'. What fun!
